Almost everyone who builds these will tell you to pour a pad and wait on it. That is a separate contractor, a separate bill, and weeks before anyone touches your fireplace.
I build the compacted base as part of the job, the same day the fireplace goes in. There is nothing to pour and nothing to wait on. If you have a patch of grass, you have a spot.

The largest, and the only one built for a mounted TV. The panel above the firebox takes a screen up to 55 inches.
The wood storage boxes shown on either side are an add on and are not part of the prices above. Both pairs are shown across the photos above. The low flat-topped pair is $3,100 and the taller stepped pair is $2,700, added to the price of the fireplace. They arrive on the same delivery and go in on a separate half day.
On the Rockwell, the TV area takes a screen up to 55 inches. Use a television built for outdoor use, and note that running power out to the spot is an electrician's job and is not part of the price.

- We build it in one day. Base and all, then we clean up and go.
What you are actually getting
A firebrick lined firebox and solid concrete, eight inches thick, set on a compacted base. Depending on the size, that is four to six tons sitting in your backyard. This is a permanent masonry fireplace, not a steel insert with stone glued around it. We light a fire in it before we leave.
